Professional Development Session

Organizers: Young Investigators Committee from SENC

There is a general consensus for the need of extracurricular skills to improve the competitiveness of young Spanish neuroscientists in the international arena. These may include leadership development, communication, time management or team building. In addition to a solid academic profile, these skills are increasingly demanded to participate in multinational research initiatives and get access to platforms for strategic innovation. With the aim of satisfying this pressing need, we have assembled a panel of international leaders in entrepreneurship, internationalization, scientific publishing and communication. They will employ a dynamic setup with practical exercises to encourage active participation of attendees.

How to participate

Now you have the opportunity to attend a Professional Development Session focused on science communication, leadership and professional skills.

This is specifically oriented to PhD students and young post-doctoral fellows but is open to everyone interested. There is a symbolic registration fee of 30 €.

If you are interested, send us a short CV together with your registration for the SENC meeting using the application form online below.
